Through the Market Hub platform, Banca IMI is able to negotiate bonds and government bonds listed on the regulated markets of Borsa Italiana, MOT and EUROMOT. On both markets, Banca IMI consistently tops the Assosim classification in terms of volumes brokered.
It also occupies the role of market maker both on Bloomberg, TLX and EuroTLX, and on over-the-counter markets, where over 2,000 bond instruments are traded (investment grade, high yield, emerging markets) targeting the needs of its institutional and retail clients.
Banca IMI operates as a market maker on the government bonds market of the major eurozone countries.
It is a Specialist in Italian government bonds (BOT, BTP, BTPi, CCT, CTZ) and Primary Dealer on the Greek government bonds market (HDAT), thus forming part of the limited number of banks selected by the Italian Treasury Ministry and by the PDMA (Greek Public Debt Management Agency). Banca IMI is also Primary Dealer on MTS for Italian government bonds and on EuroMTS for European benchmark securities. It is a market maker on BondVision, for eurozone securities, and on TLX (regulated market for retail clients).
Banca IMI is an important player on the domestic market for interest rate swaps and is able to offer its clients a wide range of interest rate derivatives, including caps, floors, swaptions as well as more complex and tailored solutions for managing typical balance sheet risks and for investment needs.
